The "smitten" card immediately made me think of this photo of my friend Michelle and her son that I snapped on our trip to the zoo this summer.  Pink and grey is such a wonderful color combination for showing off the relationship between mother and son.

All the sparkley goodness in this kit was perfect for these photos I took of orchids blooming amidst the twinkling Christmas lights at the Opryland Hotel.  To apply the glitter, I lightly spread glue across the overlay and bookpage, sprinkled the glitter, then when it was dry, scraped a bit off with my fingernail till I had it just the way I wanted it.

The white flowers reminded me of the big wet snowflakes we had in our first snowfall of the season.  i pulled them from the leaves to make them more snowflakey.  The silver snowflakes were punched from a bit of silver paper that I found backing the Prima flowers in the project kit.

Of course, I couldn't resist doing another wedding layout with this kit; it was just so elegant.  To achieve the overlay effect on the title, I wrote "June" on the pillowbox, trimmed it out, and then adhered it over my sticker title.

I just had to do a ballerina layout!  I'm so delighted with how this fun border came together.  First I stitched a bit of the crepe paper ruffle below my photos.  Next I stitched on the feathers and gluedotted the flowers and leaves.  The feathers were still a bit flighty, so I stitched them down a little more on the ends and was then happy with the overall effect.
