I cut out one of the Hambly frames, melted the sides with a candle flame gently so that the sides started to curl up to give it a more dimensional look on my layout.  I then glittered the edges to really make it stand out. I also glittered the tips of the flower to match the frame.

Layering is one of my favorite things to do so I added lots of embellishments here and some sewing on top of all the layering to really add some dimension.

I am in LOVE with all the soft pinks in this kit and decided using a picture of my girls who almost always wear pink was PERFECT!  I painted and distressed the frame, and then added the patterned paper as a background for the frame.  Adding the wired jewels gives it a really feminine touch. ;-)  I did lots of altering to the embellishments as well, including glittering up the flower, and spraying the entire circle flower with the glimmer mist to make it sparkle.

For my mini album, I wanted to take some random snapshots I have accumulated and use them in an album.  This little acrylic album worked perfectly to do so.  I adhered the papers to the acrylic and instead of neatly cutting them away, I just tore them away and sanded for a more vintage distressed look.
