The Sassafras Lass paper with the girl on the tricycle has to be my favorite pattern in the kit! I cut out the circle and anchored it under a strip of the same pattern on the opposite side. I used the tag in the kit as a mat for a photo of me and Alekha and highlighted it with rubons and label fetti. I then added two more button blossoms on the right side of the page with rubon stems, and used the Making Memories journaling stickers on the strip on the left side of the page as an anchor for a flower brad, label fetti, and some journaling. I also added the mini tags to the right upper corner of the page. |
| I had a piece of pink cardstock that I had used to punch out a pink circle on another project and didn't want to waste the piece. I thought that the diecut dotter paper from the kit this month would look great layered under the circle and I let some of the scalloped border hang off the right side of the page. I also used some of the crossword patterned paper on a JBS Studios chipboard butterfly and added the gorgeous cut glass looking brads. I added some clouds on pop dots, a diecut Sass flower highlighted with teal gems, more label fetti and one of the heart brads. | |
| I could not get enough of the diecut dotted turquoise paper. I layered it on top of cream colored cardstock and covered a Jenni Bowlin Studios chipboard bird with the vintage label from the add-on kit. I also added some of the Sassafras Lass patterned paper. I layered the diecut flowers under the photo. I added label fetti under punched butterflies, but my favorite thing to do was to use the turquoise rubons from the main kit (the dashed and solid lines) as stems for the button flowers and the heart in the lower right corner. | |
| The Fancy Pants patterned papers in this month's kit were so artsy, I loved the watercolored painted patterns. In this layout, I combined the butterfly paper with tangerine cardstock and with some of the Sassafras Lass patterns. I loved using the polka dotted patterned paper for a subtle background. I also added the Fancy Pants rub-ons and gave the clouds a lift with pop dots. Finally, I used the fabulous daisy flower and cut a stem from the Making Memories sticker packaging. The leaves were cut from one of the strips from the Fancy Pants patterned paper. (I diecut the leaves by punching out a heart shape, and then cutting the heart in half to form each leaf). I used my Martha Stewart medallion punch to punch out the watercolor circles and anchored heart brads in two of the circles. I also added a Making Memories label fetti sticker on the photo and under the clouds. | |
