I loved the flour sack paper and trimmed it along the ric rac edges and layered that on top of a warm kraft colored cardstock. I used the new cardstock journaling sticker as a frame for the red felt deer. I also used the packaging from the cantaloupe pearl flowers after using one of the flowers as a necklace decoration for the mommy deer. I used the packaging with the silver rubons for my title. I LOVE the chipboard buttons as well -I used the button to embellish a start at the top of the page. |
| I loved the new cardstock stickers and wanted to showcase the number stickers as I am fascinated with anything numeral related. I also wanted to showcase all of the new papers so I punched circles and lined them up above the numerals, and handstitched through the circles on one side. I also enjoyed creating a border for the photo I chose with the red soda label paper from the project kit. I simply trimmed thin strips and adhered it to the edges of the photo. I also added a few stitches to one of the felt flowers from the kit and placed a new rhinestone button in the center. | |
I loved all the papers in the new release and especially loved the cherries paper, so much that I couldn't bear cutting into it! I decided to frame it out with the frame label paper and cut away the center of the paper to create a frame for the cherry patterned paper. Then I layered cardstock, patterned paper and ric rac - I was going for an apron/pocket effect. I used one of the journaling cards to hold strips of journaling and created the title with the new cardstock alpha stickers. I accented the ric rac with the cantaloupe pearl flowers (LOVED them!) |

| Jenni's new papers inspired me to create a piece of altered art with an old vintage photo I had. The woman in the photo loos as though she could be a farmer's wife, doesn't she? The title of course is a play on Jenni's New Collection. I simply covered a piece of thick pressboard with the soda label paper and then the vintage text. I then added the vintage photo on top. I drilled holes in the corners to hold chain from my stash. I added the decorative chain from the kit across the photo as an accent. I added the Octagon label, a black feather, and created a medallion from the bottle cap, one of the cardstock stickers from the kit, and some grosgrain striped ribbon. The title was created with the new rubons. I added rhinestone buttons as an accent. | |
| I have seen some darling index tag books on etsy and thought I'd make one with the new cardstock stickers. I simply used the patterned paper to make my pages, then stapled them together and added them with double sided tape to the inside of the folded index tag. I embellished with the cardstock sticker and journaling card with the cow image on the front. I added a chipboard button and ribbon for a closure. The milk bottle pencil holder was made with an empty Prima flower bottle. I wrapped it with cardstock and patterned paper, then embellished it with one of the bottle caps. | |
